Uploading large video files
August 20, 2008 — louzQ: What is the video file size limit in Pachyderm?
A: There currently is no file size limit in Pachyderm, however we recommend that you keep video lengths short (1-5 min) as we have consistently gotten feedback from users that they prefer short clips that have been well edited.
There is no restriction with uploading large files to the Pachyderm server, although the upload function uses just a regular http call, so doing the upload on a good network connection and being patient is important. Sometimes, uploads of large files using http can get interrupted or dropped. If you have problems like this, please use the email link (below my photo in the left column) to contact me and we will figure out a work-around.

Is there a benefit to uploading flv files over mp4? i.e. to retain the original quality would it be better to submit flash format to avoid another conversion process.
